Tips for a safe vacation in Costa Rica

Your passport is unique, take care of it! Always carry a copy of your passport and keep the original in the safe at your hotel along with money, jewelry and other valuables.

Currency exchange, mainly use banks or authorized exchange houses. For bank procedures, the original passport must be presented.

It is recommended to use ATMs that are located in public places such as shopping centers, shopping malls, malls. Do not accept help from strangers, do not give out keys.

Protection of girls and boys. In Costa Rica we protect our children and adolescents. The sexual exploitation of minors is a crime punishable by law.
